Nature Inspired Colour

“Nature inspires my work and colour gives it life” Artist – Jackie SheehanAn exhibition of vibrant original mixed media pieces. Exploring natures colour palette through a mixture of print, organic matter, fabric and acrylic. A series of fabric flowers, created from my friends childrens’ old clothes, which were cut into strips and attached to metal hoops. The middle piece is made up from friends’ broken necklaces. A collection of plastic and wooden beads, covered with the same fabric and attached to the centre. The fabric flowers were then photographed on the walls in Inistioge. These fabric flowers incorporate my friends, their children, my village and the nature that surrounds us.
