Members of Inistioge Tidy Towns attended the South East Regional Awards event organised by the Department of Community and Rural Development at which our 2024 awards were received – our Gold Medal – 4th consecutive – and award of coming first in County Kilkenny. It was attended by Minister Timmy Dooley and KK County Council CEO Lar Power.

The event was held at Great National Ballykisteen Golf Hotel, just outside Tipperary Town. TT groups from five other counties, Tipperary North and South, Wexford, Carlow and Waterford, also received their awards so it was a great opportunity to exchange ideas and eye up the competition. Emly, national winner a few years ago, acted as hosts.
