Cullintra House, a 250 year old farmhouse set amid 230 acres of farm and woodland, has been the home of Patricia Cantlon's family since the early 1900's.
Patricia is an accomplished artist, cook and flower arranger. Her home is renowned for its breakfasts and leisurely candlelit dinners all superbly prepared from rich local produce. Visitors of all nationalities mingle in Patricia's little dining room where many friendships have been formed. The farm is an animal and bird sanctuary and a nature and cat lover's paradise. You are welcom to bring your own pet by prior arrangement.
There are many lovely walks through the woods and a private path leads to Brandon Hill and the ancient Cairn dating back 4,000 years.
Our garden room with mini kitchen for tea and coffee-making and our new log stove using windfall wood from the farm is an ideal place to relax, read or paint the local scenery (bring your own paints, tuition available if requested in advance) or just meet with the other visitors.
There is a bridge linking our private paths where you can view six counties, or you can walk to Lady Annaly's wood on the farm where animals and birds live in their own natural habitat. Cullintra is a cat lover’s paradise.
Painting and photography groups catered for. Patricia has her own paintings on view and for sale.
